We focused on capturing their everyday moments and interactions, which made for some beautiful lifestyle shots.
We decided to do the shoot at home because it was more relaxed and comfortable for the family. Being in familiar surroundings made it easy for the newborn to stay calm, which was key to capturing such sweet pictures.
Some of our dearest friends got engaged recently and I got to photograph the proposal. Proposals are some of my favorite things to photograph. There is just so much emotion and anticipation. Nathan did an amazing job keeping cool and surprising Serena. Congrats you guys!
Lisa and Eric got married at INDUSTRY in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. They actaulllllly got officially married on their original wedding date in April. Covid had to make them change their plans. I am so thankful for Lisa and Eric and that they rolled with the punches and finally got to celebrate with all their friends and family.
My shoot with Grecia and Micah was just so much fun! I loved getting to hang out with them. They are getting in 2021 but we got to shoot their session this summer. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Alex contacted me months ago about proposing to Hannah. The original plan was to do it at Newfields but with Covid that wasn’t going to be able to happen. So Alex brought Hannah to Holcomb Gardens. He told her that they were filling in for a couple for a photo shoot.
Jacob and Elaine got married in their backyard on their original wedding day. They were going to have a big ceremony and reception but due to Covid their plans had to change. The wedding was so beautiful and full of love. Their favorite people were all there. Jacob and Elaine had some friend watch from the street in their cars as well and it was just the perfect solution to a crazy time.
MacKenzie and Ryan are getting married in 2021 but we did their engagement session this summer. I just love engagement sessions and getting to hang out with my couples after they book me and just have fun before their wedding day.
So you know this thing called Covid? Well it has changed a lot of wedding plans this year. This was true for Maggie and Chris (#cuteChris as he is called). They were going to get married at Daniel’s Vineyard (and still are later this year) but they decided with everything going on that they would just elope at Chris’ family farm.
Yesterday I wrote a blog post about COVID-19 and what to do if you need to reschedule your wedding. Today I want to give you some recourses and steps on how to reschedule your wedding.
Well… this isn’t going quite as expected. As of today, March 16th, Governor Holcomb has said that Indiana is going to adhere to the CDC’s recommendation to keep gathering to a max of fifty people or less for the next eight weeks. You’re probably immediately thinking of your wedding
Okkkkkkay Meghan and Mike. I can't even handle these two. Meghan wanted to take some pics at their wedding venue for their engagement session so that we can do a side by side with photos in their wedding clothes.
This lovely wedding styled shoot was shot at Thrive Wildly in Tulum, Mexico. The set ups were just out of this world. Maria who did the floral design and set up of the shoots did the most amazing job. She is so creative and talented.
Luke and I built a greenhouse in our backyard so that I can grow my seeds during the winter. Welllll I guess it kinda turned into a photography studio before the plant growing even started.
My bestie is engaged! I have been lying to her for weeeeeks saying that I knew nothing. I even had to throw up a couple of fake Insta stories because she kept trying to FaceTime me while I was making the eight hour drive down to Birmingham.
In October I traveled to Tulum, Mexico to attend a photography workshop put on by Melissa Marshall. It was called Thrive Wildly. I was blown away by the architecture of Tulum.
In home newborn sessions are my very favorite especially in the colder winter months. I have been photographing the Kilburn family for years and it has been such an honor to watch their family grow.
