Maggie and Chris | COVID-19 Elopement

So you know this thing called Covid? Well it has changed a lot of wedding plans this year. This was true for Maggie and Chris (#cuteChris as he is called). They were going to get married at Daniel’s Vineyard (and still are later this year) but they decided with everything going on that they would just elope at Chris’ family farm. The adjustments of plans has been frustrating and sad for a lot of people but these intimate elopements also feel just right. Maggie told me that the first time she went to the farm she thought about getting married there. But when it came time to plan her wedding, having it at the farm wasn’t realistic. Covid changed her plans and now she gets to have both things. She imagined swinging in the front of the house in her wedding dress and that got to happen. It felt right. Sometimes it is hard to hold both the frustration of upended plans and happiness of what ends up happening at the same time. But I left this elopement with a smile on my face because it was just perfect.
