My bestie is engaged! I have been lying to her for weeeeeks saying that I knew nothing. I even had to throw up a couple of fake Insta stories because she kept trying to FaceTime me while I was making the eight hour drive down to Birmingham. I wouldn't have missed seeing this moment for the world. ⠀
Kara and I have been friends for years. We went to college together and lived together our senior year. Our senior year we spent just about every waking moment together. Most people (even us) would say we are opposites in most things but it just works. After we graduated, I moved back to Indiana and she stayed in Birmingham. Our friendship hasn't changed much even with the 492 miles between us. We FaceTime multiple times a week and chat on the phone most days. I am so thankful to have such an intentional friend. I just can't even waiiiiiit for her to get married!
