A Ferrani Easter
I hadn't been home in almost three months. If you know me, you know I LOVE Indy. It's my place. It's my home. My people live there. Nothing gets me quite like the first sight of the skyline after driving seven hours up I-65 from Birmingham. Easter meant home and family and food and my bed and my puppy and doctors appointments. I just love having all of our people together in one place. It feels right. It feels like home. It is where I am the most comfortable. We had a stellar family night of coloring Easter eggs and going to the Pacers game. I got to play lacrosse with my amazingly talented sisters. Good news, my brain is working well these days. The doctor says I'm a normal human again. Yay brain!
Funny story, as Allie and I drove back to Birmingham my window just all of the sudden exploded. Glass went everywhere and we were screaming but praise Jesus I didn't swerve because we made it back safely.
