Lindy and JT | Proposal at Allisonville Garden & Home in Indianapolis, Indiana

I have known Lindy since we were little. She has been best friends with my sister Alli for years and years. When I was contacted about taking photos during JT proposing to Lindy, I was beyond excited. There was a bit of a problem though. It is February in Indiana. It is cold and there are no leaves or greenery anywhere to be found. Lindy, like all of us, is a fan of sunshine and warmth and summer and all the happy things that warm weather brings. We couldn't fly down to Florida but we got just about as close as we could get. We went to Allisonville Home and Garden and it felt like you were walking into a little bit of summer during the winter. Everyone there was more than helpful and it was the perfect backdrop for the proposal. Plus they had a cat in the store and if you know Lindy you know this means it was the perfect spot.

Lindy was out shopping with her sisters and mom and they stopped by Allisonville Home and Garden to "grab a plant". Lindy rounded the corner and JT was standing there all nervous and giddy. He took her by the hand and brought her into a little nook of plants and popped the question. She, of course, said yes and they both had tears in their eyes. Their families joined them and then just about everyone was crying.

After going to dinner with their families, Lindy and JT came back to Lindy's parents house to find a group of their friends ready to celebrate with them.

Lindy and JT, I am so excited for you guys! Marriage is the best.
