As a photographer, my backup system is one of the most important parts of my business. These files are just so important. They are other people’s memories and my business. I take backing up my files very seriously. Like they-are-backed-up-in-five-places seriously I have heard horror story after horror story of peoples hard drives crashing and losing all the files.
Read MoreElly and Bobby, I just love them. This is actually their second wedding. Their first wedding was a small intimate wedding in Ohio in June. Then in August they threw a big party for their friends and family in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I got to photograph it all and it all was a dream.
Read MoreKelsey and Eric got married on a rainy day in August. We got to Holliday park to take photos and it was just down pouring. I was pretty sad because I really wanted to get some good photos outside. Well right before we were about to start taking bridal party photos, the rain stopped and the sun even came out a little bit. It ended up being the most beautiful day!
I don't even know where to begin with this wedding. I could weep. I am just so thankful to have been asked to travel to Aspen for Carli and Doug's wedding. Luke and I were welcomed in like family. We got to travel all around Aspen and Snowmass for Carli and Doug's epic wedding.

Their bridal party was amazing, Allie was the most laid back bride, and the venue just couldn't have been more stunning. At one point, after we had gone to the side of this hill to take pictures, Allie's mom was washing her dress in the sink of their Airbnb. Allie was eating pizza without a care in the world. I couldn't have been more honored to have been there to capture their wedding day.

At the end of the session Chris said "wow that just felt like we were having fun and hanging out." That is exactly what I hope it feels like at the end of the session! Read MoreChris proposed to Shannon downtown noon the circle in Indianapolis around Christmas. They came out of the theater after seeing the Yultide and walked to the circle to take a "group picture". Shannon was shocked when Chris got down on one knee and proposed. Then all of their friends and family came over to celebrate. It was so much fun!

They wrote their own vows that were so poetic I want to hang them in my house. THEY served communion to their guests. It was just so beautiful. Their love was evident but also their deep deep respect for each other. I was so honored to be there to capture it all.
Read MoreCarli, Doug and I headed to downtown Noblesville for their engagement session. It started to rain as the session started and we decided to just go for it. Carli and Doug are so laid back they didn't let the rain phase them for a second. They are getting married in August in the mountains in Colorado and I just can't wait for it.
